The Second Generation BMW X2
The new BMW X2 series has arrived!
Kicking off engine options, the entry-level model starts with a mild hybrid s-drive 20i engine, which is a three-cylinder petrol engine that’s supported by a small electric motor to produce 168 bhp.
Upgrading to the X2 M35i swaps out the three-cylinder, replacing it with a high-performance turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 296 bhp!
Both engine options are paired with a 7-speed Steptronic transmission, although, the M235i adds X-Drive for improved traction on launch and helps it to achieve 0-62mph in just 5.4 seconds! The M235i upgrade also increases the top speed from 132 mph to 155 mph.
Fully Electric BMW iX2
If you do not want to go with a combustion engine option, then BMW has you covered, thanks to the introduction of the BMW IX2! The fully electric iX2 xDrive 30 is an all-wheel drive SUV that attaches an electric motor to each axle, producing an impressive 306 bhp!
The BMW iX2 xDrive 30 M Sport has a WLTP test range of up to 267 Miles on a single charge.
