Exterior
The new 2024 Aston Martin Vantage has arrived!
On a visual front, the new front end has been inspired by the One-77. There is a revamped front end with a 38% larger front grille, for an improved presence.
Sitting just above the newly incorporated grille is a set of newly styled Matrix LED headlights.
.
The new Vantage now sits with 30mm more width than its predecessor.
Aston has opted to keep their signature full-width LED at the rear, with the most notable changes occurring on the front.
The air intakes have been revised and allow greater room for the larger grille.
Performance
Boasting improved performance, the new V8 vantage is claimed to produce a staggering 656 bhp, which makes it more powerful than the former V12!
For comparison, the former V8 Vantage delivered an impressive 503hp.
Aston Martin claims the additional 152hp has been achieved due to an extensive tuning programme which altered compression ratios, but more notably, introduced two larger turbochargers. It also utilises two extra auxiliary coolers and a lower radiator.
Moreover, the eight-speed automatic gearbox has been calibrated for sharper shifting.
Chassis
The lightweight aluminium chassis has also been revised to improve responsiveness and overall rigidity.
The front cross member has been moved further back, ensuring the suspension mounting points are more rigid.
It is claimed to be 29% stiffer under load due to reinforcements and a new undertray, improving handling and driver feedback
Alloy Wheels
The Vantage uses a stunning set of 21” forged alloy wheels, eliminating every gram of excess weight, without compromising on the aesthetics of the car.
These will be wrapped in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tyres.
Interior
Moving to the interior, the most notable change is the 10.25” touchscreen that operates on a bespoke Aston Martin infotainment system, which also supports Apple CarPlay.
The new carbon fibre centre console is now positioned higher.
It is equipped with satin carbon fibre bucket seats as standard. If that’s not enough, these stunning seats have heating and ventilation functionality, finished with embroider headrests.
Price
Prices are expected to start around £165,000 and production is set to begin in the coming weeks!
