Ordering Terms And Conditions
You have now completed your compliance phone call and monies have been remitted from a debit or credit card for the deposit. The broker fee payment is our commission and does not form any part of the finance agreement. As explained, Prior to processing your order a processing fee will be detailed on the order form, this represents the costs incurred to arranging the sale as per your instructions, this includes ordering and the delivery of the vehicle. After payment is taken you will be sent an official order form electronically. Click on the form to agree to our terms and more importantly check that all vehicle details are correct. It is your responsibility to confirm by electronically signing that all details are correct,for any queries please email [email protected]. Your payment profile will be detailed on the order form, with the term and mileage.
Failure to electronically sign the order form could cause delays from the supplying dealer or even place the order on hold. This electronic order forms part of the order process and is sent to the supplying dealer to confirm vehicle details are correct. If the vehicle you have ordered is not available, contractcars.com will contact you by email or telephone to provide possible alternatives.
Contractcars.com will endeavour to chase all outstanding order forms. Where applicable documentation fees will be charged and these must be paid before the documentation is produced. Contractcars.com are not responsible for any losses or damages arising from delays, cancellation or incomplete orders. If documents are sent late, incorrectly or not scanned and emailed as per the processes, it’s at the discretion of the finance company if the agreement is honoured. If the agreement is not honoured all monies paid to Contractcars are deemed non-refundable. No contract can be formed until such time as a copy of the order form electronically signed by the customer is received. Cancellations cannot be verbally accepted and the cancellation form must be electronically signed and returned, failure to follow the process can result in further costs.
It is the responsibility of the customer to return the correctly signed contracts within a reasonable time period. This is usually 48 hours unless otherwise specified. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the finance offer and the possibility of an increase in rates. If the customer fails to respond during this time frame then the liability for any loss lies with the customer and Contractcars.com will not be held responsible.
Contractcars.com do not accept any orders verbally and any changes must be detailed upon the order form. Your order of a vehicle from Contractcars.com is an offer by you. Delivery dates and specification are subject to change by the manufacturer without notice. The vehicle must be serviced at the main dealer unless otherwise specified. You will be liable for any cancellation fees charged by the supplying dealer on factory order vehicles, ordered to your specification, if you decide to cancel. Any changes to specifications on factory orders are at the discretion of the manufacturer.
No Deal Brexit
In the event that our government agrees a "No Deal Brexit", it is very likely World Trade Organisation terms will immediately apply on goods imported into the UK from 31st January, at least until a trade agreement is agreed with the specific Country.
The WTO tariff on new cars coming into the Country is 10%. The manufacture, finance company and broker will not be responsible for this tariff, should it be applied, on the basis it is a tax and outwith their controls and becomes the responsibility of the customer.
FOR NEW CAR ORDERS WITH A FORECAST DELIVERY DATE AFTER 31st January 2020 - If the manufacturer’s recommended price for the Goods is increased due to additional import tariffs resulting from 'Brexit', the amount of the increase shall be notified to the Customer. The Customer shall have the right to look at alternatives or accept the revised price.
Specification and Images
The vehicle specifications displayed on the website are supplied by the vehicle manufacturers to CAP and formatted for our use. Whilst every effort is made to verify and ensure the accuracy of the data, the information should only be used as a guide and no purchasing decision should be made without verification of the latest data from either the manufacturer or franchised dealer. All images on the website or marketing material are for illustration purposes only.
In normal circumstances the profile is based upon our base rental fee followed by an advanced rental detailed on the order form, normally these would be 3, 6 or 9 payments in advance, payable before or after delivery, depending on the finance company.
All prices are subject to VAT whether personal or business leasing. Delivery by the dealer to your chosen UK mainland destination, number plate, Road Fund Licence for the term(if applicable) and Vehicle Registration Charge. Any change in government road fund licence fees, will be passed onto you the customer. Contractcars.com reserves the right to change the price or delivery estimates either before or after Contractcars.com accepts any order. Contractcars.com shall notify you of such a change and you have the right to cancel your order if the change is not deemed acceptable. Prices on the web site are for information purposes only and do not constitute an offer by Contractcars.com capable of an acceptance by you. The initial payment is not part of any advanced rental and do not form part of any payment to the finance company unless specifically stated so above. If the documents are not produced at the time of cancellation the document fees will be refunded.
Credit card payments will incur a 2% surcharge. RFL is provided for 12 months only unless otherwise stated.
Upon receipt of correct finance documentation and any balance of monies Contractcars.com will arrange driven delivery of the vehicle to your chosen UK Mainland destination. You will be provided with the earliest day slot available and delivery will be between 8am and 6pm Monday – Friday. Delivery mileage may count towards your annual allowance The vehicle becomes your property once the delivery note is signed, so must be inspected as failure will result in you becoming liable for the damage. Local registrations of vehicles are not possible. The timescale detailed on the order form is a mere estimate and can fluctuate.
Contractcars.com does not offer storage services but as a gesture of goodwill to customers allow them to use our secure car park to arrange onward delivery. Any vehicle left in the custody of Contractcars.com whilst awaiting onward delivery, does at their own risk. Contractcars.com will not be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred whilst the vehicle is left unattended within our secure car park. It’s the responsibility of the customer to fully insure the vehicle whilst in our custody, Contractcars.com offer no insurance cover whilst the vehicle is left. Contractcars.com will sign for the vehicle and will check the vehicle to their best endeavours, weather permitting etc, any damage found after is not the responsibility of the Contractcars.com. Any arrangements for onward delivery with transport/delivery companies is made by yourselves and Contractcars.com have no responsibility for any losses arising from the onward delivery.
Delivery dates are subject to change by the manufacturer. Response to this email constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Contractcars.com reserve the right to cancel any order with prior written notice and are not liable for any losses arising from the cancellation. In the event that Contractcars.com are unable to supply the vehicle, all monies paid will be refunded and we will not be liable of any losses or damages arising from the cancellation. It’s your responsibility to ensure you have the correct proofs of address and original identifications to satisfy FCA requirements.
