The New 2025 Audi RS3 has arrived!
Despite producing the same power output, the RS3 has been refined for greater agility and has been celebrated for more precise driving.
The RS3 chassis controls have been upgraded for improved stability and greater cornering speed
Engine & Performance
Users will be happy to hear that Audis hot hatch has retained the outgoing 2.5TFSi 5-cylinder petrol engine, due to its success and it remains unchanged, producing an impressive 394 bhp.
It can sprint from 0-62mph in only 3.8 seconds thanks to Audi Quattros’ all-wheel drive system.
Audi has also configured the exhaust timing between 2,200rpm – 3,500 rpm, ensuring a more complete and consistent sound, no matter what driving mode is selected.
Top speed is restricted to 155mph, although, upgrading to the Carbon Vorsprung trim increases the top speed to 174mph.
Operating an all-wheel drive system with a torque vectoring differential mounted on the rear, the RS3 operates a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Calibrating such tech to work in conjunction, reduces understeer and increases traction when cornering for faster lap times. The torque splitter, adaptive dampers and stability control work together for increased stability and improved cornering speeds.
Interior
The most notable changes are on the inside, where you will find a set of new RS bucket seats and a new flat-top and bottom steering wheel design.
Audi has opted to remove traditional physical controls, with haptic buttons now spanning the steering wheel
Verdict
Due to this incredible engineering refinements, the new Audi RS3 Saloon blitzed around the Nurburgring in only 7 minutes 33 seconds. Making it a staggering five seconds faster than the BMW M2!
The RS3 is available in both Hatchback and Saloon configurations and has already proven to be a serious competitor to the Volkswagen Golf R & BMW M2.
The entry-level Sportback variant kicks pricing off from £59,510, with the saloon expected to start from £1000 more.
